Foutch Brothers, LLC was formed in 2004 by brothers Steve and Scott Foutch. Foutch Brothers, LLC began as a general contracting company to manage the construction phase of their development of properties. Foutch Brothers specializes in historical renovations of buildings from the early 1900s, and has been in the renovation business for over ten year.
Steve Foutch
CEO
Steve Foutch is founder and CEO of Foutch Brothers, LLC, a Midwest Developer and General Contractor of Historic and Affordable Housing projects. Since 2004 the firm has grown from the two brothers to over 200 employees and has developed and built over 700 residential units and mixed use retail and commercial space representing nearly 1 million square feet of space at a cost of $67 million. Foutch Brothers currently has an equivalent amount of work scheduled to begin in 2010 and 2011 while further diversifying the company in multiple new directions.
Prior to founding the company, Steve was a Partner at Gastinger Walker Harden Architects and held various Real Estate consulting positions for Sprint and Ameritech. Steve received his Bachelors of Architecture from Iowa State University and his Masters of Architecture and MBA from the University of Illinois.
Scott Foutch
Director of Construction
Scott Foutch has served as the owner and construction director for Foutch Brothers LLC since 2004. He runs the construction portion of the company by overseeing the projects from the beginning. He also stays active with the upkeep of the buildings after they are turned over to the leasing department. Scott works to keep as much of the construction as possible for Foutch Brothers LLC in house. Therefore, they have built up a multitude of their own equipment including specialized equipment such as soda blasting, concrete cutting and coring and expanding spray foam.
Scott started working in construction as a college student doing steel and concrete construction. After he graduated, he used those constructions skills to run the maintenance program for an export terminal for the Louis-Dreyfus Corporation in Portland, OR. He later became the Terminal Manager of the Seattle, WA, where he oversaw all aspects of the business. Scott holds a Bachelors degree in Animal Science and Farm Operations from Iowa State University.
Nancy Lee
Director of Property Management
Nancy has been a leader in the multi-family management industry for over 25 years. She is responsible for the performance and daily operations of each property. Starting as a leasing agent, Nancy quickly climbed the ladder to manager, district manager, regional manager and then to owning her own management company. Nancy holds the designation of a certified property manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management. She also holds a Missouri Brokers license and is a Certified Occupancy Specialist. During her career Nancy has supervised over $48 million in rehab and renovation.
Her portfolio consistently maintains high occupancy and low delinquency rate. Her attention to detail and vast knowledge of both financial and daily operations performance, makes for successful multi-family assets.
Karla Jones-Wilson
General Counsel / Human Resources Director
Karla Jones-Wilson, Esq. joined Foutch Brothers, LLC in 2007 and serves a dual role as General Counsel and Human Resources Director. She is responsible for handling the Companys real estate acquisitions and transactions, real estate development, business transactions, due diligence, litigation and employment matters. Prior to working with Foutch Brothers, LLC, Karla represented developers, housing cooperative boards, homeowner associations, business owners and individuals in matters involving real estate development and transactions, public finance, entity formation and maintenance, business contract negotiations and drafting, business litigation, employment issues, estate planning and probate. Before becoming an attorney, Karla was an Industrial Engineer for two Fortune 500 companies.
Karla received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and her Juris Doctor from Washburn University. While attending law school, she was given the distinction of being inducted into the Order of Barristers and was a student editor for the Family Law Quarterly Journal. After law school she received a Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Karla is licensed to practice law in Kansas and Missouri.
Sarah Duckwitz
Controller
Sarah Duckwitz is responsible for directing the organizations overall financial policies. She oversees all financial functions including accounting, financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting, cash flow analysis, audits, tax returns, and internal controls.
Sarah has more than eleven years of experience in accounting and financial compliance. Prior to joining Foutch Brothers, she held positions in Internal Audit and Sarbanes Oxley Compliance Management at three publicly traded companies. She began her career at a large regional public accounting firm where she specialized in real estate development and construction. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. Sarah holds a Bachelors of Science in Accountancy from Southern Illinois University.
